Blanco Kitchen Remodeling: The Fort Lauderdale Owner’s Guide
Blanco kitchen remodeling in Fort Lauderdale typically runs $14,000 to $45,000 installed, depending on the scope, material choices, and what’s hiding behind your current walls. We stock Blanco-compatible parts on the truck and can usually match your model same-day with a call ahead. Most owners find us the day a Blanco sink flange fails, a pull-out spray head stops retracting, or a countertop seam opens up near the Blanco undermount and suddenly a “simple fix” turns into a full replacement conversation.
We’re an independent Fort Lauderdale remodeling contractor. We don’t work for Blanco and we don’t sell their warranties. What we do is install, replace, and remodel around their product line correctly, often on homes where the original install was done fast and is now failing slow. If you’re reading this, you probably already know the feeling: the part needs to match, the counter needs to come up, and the number needs to be real before anyone starts cutting.
Which Blanco Models This Applies To

Blanco splits their kitchen line into a few families, and the parts don’t always cross over. The Silgranit sinks (Precis, Performa, Diamond, Subline) take a different drain assembly and mounting clip set than the stainless SteelArt or IKON lines. The faucets are worse: the Blanco Culina and Linus series use different cartridges than the older Eurobridge models, and a cartridge that fits a Culina Semi-Pro won’t seat in a Linus pull-down without leaking at the base. If you’re not sure which model you have, look under the sink basin lip for a stamped model number, or check the faucet base for a small letter code. We match by that number, not by a photo of “a Blanco faucet.”
The OEM-versus-aftermarket call matters here more than with most brands. Blanco OEM cartridges and spray heads are well-made but priced at a premium. Quality aftermarket equivalents for common Blanco drain assemblies and pull-out hoses are available and usually fine, but we won’t put an aftermarket mounting clip on a Silgranit sink that’s carrying a heavy faucet and garbage disposal weight. For anything structural or load-bearing, we use Blanco-spec parts. For a hose or a spray head, we’ll give you the honest option and the price difference in writing before anything is ordered.

Signs Your Blanco Kitchen Remodeling Is Failing
- Water pools at the base of the faucet after every use. This usually means the o-ring or cartridge seal is worn, and in Fort Lauderdale’s hard coastal water, mineral buildup accelerates that wear faster than the manufacturer’s lifespan charts suggest.
- The pull-down spray won’t retract cleanly. The counterweight inside the cabinet has slipped, or the hose is catching on a rough edge from the original cutout. Left alone, the braided hose starts to fray and eventually splits under the sink.
- Brown or dark staining around the Silgranit drain flange. That’s not the sink failing; it’s the plumber’s putty or silicone seal breaking down. The stain is trapped water and oil, and it’s a sign the drain assembly is on its way out.
- The sink shifts or creaks when you lean on the front edge. Undermount Blanco sinks rely on clips and adhesive. In older Fort Lauderdale homes near Las Olas Boulevard where counters were cut slightly oversized, the clips fail first and the sink slowly pulls away.
- Low water pressure only at the kitchen faucet, nowhere else. Before you blame city supply, check the aerator and the cartridge. Blanco faucets with internal check valves get clogged with sediment after a few years in Florida, and the fix is usually a $40 part, not a repipe.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

| Scope | Typical Fort Lauderdale Installed Price |
|---|---|
| Blanco faucet cartridge or spray head replacement | $180 – $450 |
| Blanco drain assembly replacement | $200 – $500 |
| Undermount sink re-seat (adhesive + clips) | $350 – $800 |
| Blanco sink + countertop replacement (partial run) | $2,000 – $6,500 |
| Full kitchen remodel with Blanco fixtures | $14,000 – $45,000 |
The range on a full remodel comes down to three things: whether you’re keeping the existing cabinet boxes, what countertop material you choose (Cambria and Silestone both carry a premium over laminate or basic granite), and whether the demo reveals water damage behind the Blanco sink that needs framing repair before new work goes in. Every quote we write is a fixed number with parts and labor separated. You’ll know what the Blanco-specific pieces cost before we start, and our written warranty covers the install, not just the part.
Where Blanco pieces are still under manufacturer warranty, we’ll handle the claim paperwork for you, but we won’t promise Blanco will honor it. That’s between you and Blanco. Our workmanship holds regardless.
DIY or Call Us?
If your Blanco faucet has a loose handle or a slow drain, you can check a few things safely: tighten the set screw under the handle cap, clean the aerator, and clear the drain basket by hand. That costs you nothing and sometimes solves it. What we’d tell you not to touch: anything requiring countertop removal, clip re-seating, or pulling the sink from below. Undermount sinks are heavy, and when a Silgranit basin drops, it takes the plumbing and sometimes the cabinet floor with it. If you hear cracking when you lean on the sink, stop leaning on it and call us at (754) 354-7423.
Luca Romano, who runs our Fort Lauderdale crew, has pulled more than a few of these apart over the years. The ones that held up were installed with the right clips and a proper bead of adhesive. The ones that failed were glued by someone who assumed “silicone is silicone.” The work either holds up or it doesn’t, and we make sure it does.
FAQs

A Blanco faucet in Fort Lauderdale typically lasts 8 to 12 years before the cartridge or seals need replacement, though hard water and heavy daily use can shorten that to 6 or 7. Most failures are repairable with parts, not a full faucet swap. Call (754) 354-7423 if you’d like us to diagnose yours, and we’ll tell you straight whether it’s a $40 fix or time for new hardware.
Yes, in most cases the cartridge, o-ring, spray head, or drain assembly can be replaced individually without buying a whole new faucet or sink. The exception is a cracked Silgranit basin, which Blanco does not warranty for impact and we have not seen repaired successfully. Bring us the model number and we’ll tell you what’s repairable before you spend a dime.
A typical faucet cartridge or spray head swap takes 1 to 2 hours including testing for leaks. A drain assembly or undermount sink re-seat runs half a day. A full remodel with Blanco fixtures anywhere in Fort Lauderdale takes 3 to 8 weeks depending on permits and material lead times. We’ll put the timeline in writing with the quote.
We keep common Blanco cartridges, spray heads, hoses, and drain assemblies stocked on our trucks for same-day replacement in most Fort Lauderdale neighborhoods. Less common parts can be ordered and usually arrive within a week. Call (754) 354-7423 with your model number and we’ll check the truck while you’re on the line.
