Construction Before & After in Fort Lauderdale, FL
Anyone can talk about craftsmanship. Photos show it. In Fort Lauderdale, a remodel has to hold up against salt air, humidity, and daily wear from sand and wet feet. The transformations below represent the kind of work we’ve done across Broward County since 2005, from tight galley bathrooms to dated kitchens and water-damaged exteriors. Judge the details: straight grout lines, clean transitions, level finishes. That’s where the real story lives.

Recent Transformations
Bathroom Remodel in Victoria Park: 1940s Plumbing to Modern Shower
Before
AfterThe original bathroom had cast-iron plumbing from the 1940s that was actively corroding at the joints. We opened the wall, replaced the drain stack with PVC, and rebuilt the shower with a full waterproof membrane and Schluter edge trim (the metal strip that waterproofs where your tile meets the floor). The after photo shows a curbless entry, large-format porcelain tile, and a niche built to the client’s shampoo bottle height, not a stock dimension.
Kitchen Renovation in Coral Ridge: Closing Off a Dining Room Pass-Through
Before
AfterThe kitchen had a dated pass-through that robbed both rooms of storage and made the space feel like a rental hallway. We framed in the opening, extended the KraftMaid cabinetry across the new wall, and ran Caesarstone countertops with a waterfall edge. Result: a full appliance run, a proper pantry, and a dining room that finally felt like its own room.
Whole-Home Renovation in Sailboat Bend: Flood Mitigation and Flooring
Before
AfterThis 1950s concrete-block home had carpet glued directly to slab, which trapped moisture rising through the foundation every humid summer. We pulled the carpet, ground the slab, applied a moisture barrier, and installed wood-look luxury vinyl plank rated for below-grade installation. The after photo shows continuous flooring throughout, new baseboards, and drywall repaired where old paneling had hidden termite trails.
Bathroom Remodel in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea: Shower Pan Leak Repair

The original shower pan was a fiberglass insert that had cracked at the drain flange, leaking into the subfloor for months before the homeowner noticed a soft tile outside the bathroom door. We demolished the pan, replaced the rotted subfloor section, and installed a mud-set pan with a PEX liner and river rock tile. The after photo shows a new glass surround and a hand-held Kohler fixture on a slide bar.
Exterior Repair in Wilton Manors: Rotted Soffit and Fascia Replacement

Years of gutter overflow had rotted the fascia boards along the back eaves, and birds had begun nesting inside the soffit. We removed the rotted wood, replaced it with PVC trim boards that will not absorb water, and installed vented soffit panels in a matching profile. The after photo shows a clean shadow line and painted trim that matches the original color, plus new gutters with a proper fall angle.
Home Renovation in Poinsettia Heights: Removing a Load-Bearing Wall

The client wanted an open floor plan, but the wall between the living room and kitchen carried ceiling joists across the entire span. We installed a flush LVL beam with concealed hangers, pulled the permit, and had the structural change inspected and signed off before drywall went back up. The after photo shows an uninterrupted sightline from the front door to the back windows.
